GATEWAY KIDS

Our desire is to see children thrive as they learn to follow Jesus with their families.

Make Sundays your family’s favorite day of the week by joining us each Sunday at 10:30am. We pair Bible lessons with crafts, games, & activities for kids through the 4th grade in order to learn about WHO Jesus is & WHAT he has done through his life, death, and resurrection.

F.A.Q.

How often is Kids Time offered?
Kids Time is offered the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month. We call the last Sunday of the month, Family Sunday. We’ll have extra snacks and crafts on hand, and we’ll take part in the whole service together as a church family.

How do I sign my child up for Kids Time?
We have a check in table right outside the worship area. There will be a registration form for any 1st time guests.

The child will receive a printed out name tag to be worn until they exit Kids Time (it will include their name, date, & any dietary restrictions or needs they have). The guardian will also receive a matching printed out tag to bring at the time of child pick up in the Kids Time area after service.

When does Kids Time begin?
We see worshipping as a family as an important part of the gathered church. Children start in the service together with everyone and then are dismissed to Kids Time right before the preaching.

When does Kids Time end?
Kids Time ends right after the service.

What measures does Gateway take to make safety a priority?
Safety is one of our top priorities at Gateway.

All of our Kids Time Workers are background checked and receive regular training. There are always at least 2 adult Kids Time Workers that have received training with children during Kids Time. Only approved guardians may pick the child up from Kids Time. The building’s exterior door is shut & locked once Kids Time begins. Ushers will greet anyone that arrives after that time. We also ensure all kiddos are healthy enough to be in Kids Time and have our workers ready to recognize when the child is not.

What happens if my child needs me during Kids Time?
An usher or Kids Time Director will notify you that your child needs you & show you where to go to assist them in their need. You can decide if you’d prefer the child to stay with you or stay in Kids Time if they are able to do so.
